ALBANY, N.Y. - According to Chinese astrology, 2010 was the Year of the Tiger. However, with The Miz as WWE Champion, The Nexus still a dominant force andCM Punk getting the best of John Cena, perhaps the past 12 months will best be known as the Year of the Rat.

Reports on the demise of The Nexus are premature. After decimating the ranks of the band of outlaws, John Cena may have thought he had rid WWE of them for good. Despite the humiliating beatdown he’s administered over the past several weeks, however, a new iteration of the group appears to have emerged.

Prior to his match against CM Punk, WWE’s 2010 Superstar of the Year was confronted by Nexus loyalistDavid Otunga, who suspiciously offered to bury the hatchet in the new year. He even proclaimed that Nexus was under new management, presumably having ousted Wade Barrett. After being rebuffed by a guarded Cena, Otunga and his Nexus cohorts attacked, leaving a Nexus armband in the ring.

After leaving their rival battered, Nexus exited and CM Punk, who had been trying to rally the Raw roster against Cena all evening, assumed their position. The Straightedge Superstar shrewdly nailed his opponent with a GTS, then slipped the Nexus armband on himself, signaling that perhaps Punk will be the new ringleader of the yellow-and-black brigade.

The King has been toppled – again. To end an extraordinary year, Randy Orton clashed with a familiar rival, Sheamus. Despite his recent triumph at the 2010 King of the Ring tournament, The Celtic Warrior proved unable to master The Viper. In a year filled with impressive conquests, Orton leveled his Irish foe once again to polish off the dessert that was 2010.

One crows about attracting women while the other actually, well, does it. Zack Ryder hoped to make an impact when he battled United States Champion Daniel Bryan. Instead, the “Long Island Iced-Z” offered up a watered down performance against the Bella magnet, who prevailed in convincing fashion.

After the bout, The Miz ambushed announcer Jerry “The King” Lawler, who had defeated the WWE Champion earlier in the evening in a non-title match. After the attack, Miz left the WWE Legend in a broken heap on the floor.

Divas Champion Natalya appeared eager to face Melina after the Latina slapped her silly last week when Nattie tried to congratulate her. Some gratitude, huh? This week, though, Nattie was prepared. After Melina & Alicia Fox teamed up to defeat Eve & Gail Kim, the L.A. woman again tried to smack the Divas Champion, but Nattie turned the other cheek – just in time. She avoided Melina’s strike and laid a solid slap of her own on her tormentor.

Lawler 2, Miz 0. For the second week running, Jerry “The King” Lawler upset WWE Champion The Miz. Last week, Lawler pinned Miz in a Six Man Tag Team Match. This week, the Raw announcer triumphed in a non-title match by count-out when John Morrison, No. 1 contender for the WWE Title, distracted his former tag team partner and prompted The Awesome One to lose after a 10 count. As The Guru of Greatness raised Lawler’s hand in victory, Miz went ballistic, even more so when Morrison was knocked him off the ring apron.

Mark Henry def. Tyson Kidd (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Standing on the shoulders of a giant doesn’t make you a tall man. When Tyson Kidd faced off against Mark Henry, the diminutive sparkplug enjoyed having his immense bodyguard, Jackson Andrews, in his corner. Unfortunately for Kidd, though, Andrews could only watch, and Henry quickly took advantage. In fact, not only did The World’s Strongest Man crush his opponent, he also humbled Kidd’s colossal companion with The World’s Strongest Slam after the bout.

John Morrison’s resolution remains as rock hard as his abs. The No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship faced off against Alex Riley to earn the right to name the time and type of title match against The Miz. Were The Shaman of Sexy to lose, he would forfeit the title opportunity all together. With so much at stake, Morrison held nothing back to emerge victorious. Afterward, he gleefully informed his former tag team partner that their title bout will take place next week on Raw and will be a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

Beware the two-headed snake! After successfully – and quickly – navigating the challenge of Ted DiBiase, WWE Tag Team Champion Santino Marella felt the impetuous fury of The “Fortunate Son.” DiBiase and his girlfriend,Maryse, attacked the Italian and his special lady friend,Tamina. The odd couple made hisss-tory of their foes by unleashing double Cobras on their assailants.

When it comes to snide, arrogant, Straight Edgeweasels, John Cena’s not exactly a fan. And who could blame the guy? Last week, WWE’s 2010 Superstar of the Year appeared finally to be putting a tumultuous year behind him by besting Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. As he reveled in the victory, however, CM Punk ambushed him and slammed a steel chair into his back. The Second City Savior then did the same, mere days later on SmackDown.

Soon after Cena called out the self-righteous Superstar, Punk defended The Nexus as well as SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero and opined that WWE’s 2010 Superstar of the Year was nothing more than a bully. Perhaps the only thing the two were able to agree upon was that they would face off later in the evening.

The final WWE Monday Night RAW of 2010 (december 27, 210) kicks off with the normal RAW opening video. And we're live from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York as the pyro goes off and Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW.

- We go right to the ring and out comes John Cena to a big pop. Cena hits the ring and gets some boo's from the crowd. Cena says he's upset about something that happened last week. Cena shows on the big screen and some fans start chanting for CM Punk. Cena talks about accidentally spilling Punk's diet soda a few weeks back. Cena shows a clip from SmackDown where Punk attacked him after the match against Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero. Cena calls Punk out to the ring.

Punk comes out to the stage and mocks Cena for being a fan favorite. Punk goes on to talk about how Cena said he was leaving and kept coming back week after week. Punk says Cena's word is absolutely worthless. Punk talks about Cena dropping the chairs on Wade Barrett at TLC and says it wasn't acceptable. Cena defends his actions against Nexus. Punk calls Cena a hypocrite and says Cena ended the career of his good friend Batista. Punk recalls Batista's last match where Cena put him through the stage. Punk goes on to talk about Cena humiliating Vickie Guerrero. Cena defends his actions against Batista and Vickie Guerrero. Cena goes on and Punk says he isn't laughing, Cena isn't funny.

Punk says Cena will change and he will facilitate those changes. Punk says Cena's phony actions aren't going to cut it anymore. Punk says he knows the real Cena and the fake Cena is going to stop. Cena says Punk is talking a big game with his theories. Cena says they can settle their issues in the ring. Punk calls Cena predictable and says this is his show tonight and it's happening on his terms. Punk says sometime tonight, it will be him in the ring calling Cena out. Punk says his attacks over the past few weeks were nothing compared to what he has in store for Cena tonight. Punk promises that Cena will never forget it. Punk wishes Cena and his fans watching a very happy New Year and his music hits. Punk and Cena stare each other down.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton

Back from commercial and out comes Sheamus for the next match. His opponent Randy Orton is out next to a big pop from the crowd. The bell rings and they lock up. They tangle and go to the corner where Sheamus strikes first. Orton turns it around with right hands in the corner. Sheamus fires back with kicks and punches. Orton turns it around one more time with uppercuts. They go to the opposite corner and continue to trade shots. Orton jumps on top of Sheamus and unloads with right hands. Orton stomps on Sheamus now.

Winner: Randy Orton

- We see John Cena backstage headed to the ring as we go back to commercial.

- Back from the break and out comes John Cena to the ring. Cena talks about CM Punk calling him out earlier. Cena says if Punk wants some, come get some. Punk's music hits but he doesn't come out. Next, the music of Nexus hits and out they come to the ring, minus Wade Barrett. David Otunga enters the ring while the rest of them stand outside. Otunga talks about Cena attacking him with a chair. Otunga says Nexus is under new management now. Otunga says he doesn't want a conflict with Cena.

Otunga extends his hand for a shake. Cena says he knows why Nexus did what they did. Cena says if he thought what Otunga was saying was genuine, he would shake his hand infront of everyone. Cena says Otunga is nothing but a spineless, backstabbing worm of a man. Cena says he doesn't trust him and there will be no moving forward between them. Cena says he has two options. Turn around and move backwards or throw hands and see what happens. Cena drops the mic. Otunga steps back out of the ring. Nexus heads back up the ramp but abruptly turn around and rush Cena in the ring, beating him down.

Nexus hit their finishers on Cena. Gabriel goes to the top and hits the 450 splash. Nexus stand above Cena in the ring and pose as their music hits. As they head up the ramp, CM Punk's music hits and out he comes. Punk walks right past them and to the ring where Cena is laid out. Punk lifts Cena up and hits the GTS. Punk goes outside and gets a chair, bringing it back in. He goes to hit Cena with the chair but stops in mid-air. Punk sits down in the chair and looks at Cena. Punk picks up a Nexus armband off the mat and puts it on. Punk stands up and raises his arm to the other Nexus members on the ramp. Punk's music hits and RAW goes off the air with him keeping his hand raised to Nexus.

Cyber terrorisme: un réseau terroriste démantelé au maroc

Les services de sécurité marocaines ont procédé dernièrement au démantèlement d'un réseau terroriste composé de six marocains qui s'activent dans ce qu'il est convenu d'appeler le terrorisme de la "Cybernetic".

Un communiqué du ministère de l'intérieur, indique que les membres de ce réseau après avoir acquis une grande expérience dans le domaine de la confection et l'utilisation d'explosifs projetaient de mettre à profit cette expérience pour perpétrer des actes terroristes dans différents foyers de tension à l'échelle internationale mais aussi à l'intérieur du territoire national marocain, notamment via l'utilisation de voitures piégées visant certains intérêts étrangers dans le Royaume, ainsi que plusieurs établissements nationaux et des postes de sécurité.

Ce réseau terroriste sera déféré devant la justice dès la fin de l'enquête supervisée par le Parquet compétent, ajoute le communiqué.

Achats en ligne: 10.000 dirhams par an

Le Maroc innove dans le domaine des changes et du commerce électronique. Les particuliers peuvent recevoir une dotation d’un montant plafonné à 10.000 DH par an destinée au commerce électronique et chargée sur une carte de crédit internationale.

Changes: Les nouvelles mesures

Le ministre des Finances présente ce vendredi 24 décembre à Rabat un paquet de mesures d’assouplissement du régime de change. Plusieurs projets de circulaires ont été diffusés auprès du marché. A noter deux dispositifs majeurs: le montant autorisé pour l’investissement à l’étranger passerait à 100 millions de dirhams pour les opérations en Afrique et 50 millions pour le reste du monde. L’autre gros changement porterait sur la rémunération des comptes en devises des MRE. C’est un tabou qui vient de se briser. C’est la première fois que les comptes à vue seraient rémunérés.

Relèvement du montant des IDE marocains
Changement du seuil des investissements marocains à l’étranger. Les banques seront désormais habilitées à transférer, pour le compte des personnes morales marocaines au titre de leurs investissements à l’étranger, 100 millions de DH pour ceux à réaliser en Afrique et 50 millions de DH pour le reste du monde. Avant cette nouvelle mesure, le plafond était de 30 millions de DH pour tout le monde.

La dotation de voyages d’affaires double
Les plafonds pour les dotations de voyages d’affaires ont été augmentés. Ainsi, les dotations professions libérales à titre individuel ou d’affaires vont doubler. Elles passent de 30.000 à 60.000 dirhams.
Les sociétés qui ne disposent pas de comptes en devises ou en dirhams convertibles peuvent mobiliser au titre de voyages d’affaires, l’équivalent de 10% du chiffre d’affaires qu’elles ont réalisées au cours de l’exercice précédent dans une limite fixée à 200.000 DH par an. Dans le cas où leur chiffre d’affaires se réduit, elles pourront continuer à bénéficier d’une dotation minimum de 60.000 DH annuel. Comme c’était le cas auparavant. Pour la dotation touristique qui concerne des milliers de particuliers, rien ne filtre encore mais jusqu’à la dernière minute, il y avait des hésitations pour la relever.

Exportateurs: Plus de justificatifs pour les missions à l’étranger
La quotité qui peut être enregistrée au crédit du compte en devises ou en dirhams convertibles pour un exportateur de biens est portée à 70% contre 50% auparavant. En effet, l’exportateur a le droit d’enregistrer au crédit de son compte 70% des recettes d’exportations rapatriées. De plus, il peut détenir plusieurs comptes en devises auprès d’un ou plusieurs banques. D’ailleurs, il a désormais la possibilité d’arbitrer sans limitation de montant, les disponibilités de ses comptes contre d’autres devises. Comme pour les MRE, les disponibilités des comptes en devises de l’exportateur seront dorénavant rémunérées.
Par ailleurs, l’exportateur est dispensé, pour les dépenses réglées directement à l’étranger au titre du paiement des frais de voyage et de séjour de son personnel en mission de présenter des justificatifs. Les règlements doivent toutefois être effectués par chèque ou par carte de crédit internationale ou, même, par utilisation de dotations en billets de banque étrangers obtenues par débit du compte en devises ou en dirhams convertibles.

Les comptes en devises des MRE rémunérés
Pour la première fois, les comptes à vue en devises ouverts en faveur des MRE seront rémunérés. Dans une seconde phase, les MRE auront la possibilité de racheter et réexporter jusqu’à 50% des devises rapatriées et céder sur le marché des changes au cours des 12 derniers mois. Et ce, dans une limite de 100.000 DH.

Achats en ligne: 10.000 dirhams par an
Premières mesures pour promouvoir le commerce en ligne. Les particuliers peuvent recevoir une dotation d’un montant plafonné à 10.000 DH par an destinée au commerce électronique et chargée sur une carte de crédit internationale émise à cet effet. Cette carte de paiement peut être utilisée pour le règlement de différents achats sur le web notamment de logiciels, le téléchargement d’applications, l’achat de titres de voyage. Pour recevoir la carte, la personne doit présenter une carte d’identité et une attestation sur l’honneur qui certifie qu’aucune dotation ne lui a été octroyée à au titre du commerce électronique pour l’année. A noter que l’attributaire peut utiliser ce montant en une seule ou plusieurs fois sans dépasser le plafond de 10.000 DH dans l’année.

5% de rabais pour les prix à l’exportation
Le taux de réduction de prix pour tous les exportateurs de biens quel que soit leur secteur est fixé à 5% contre 3 auparavant. Cette réduction n’était destinée par le passé qu’aux exportateurs de produits textiles et d’habillement. A l’origine ce rabais devrait compenser les retards de livraison, une contribution à la valorisation d’emballages, des articles manquants ou défectueux. Il pouvait aussi être utilisé comme instrument de politique commerciale (escompte pour paiement au comptant).

Plus d’homologation pour les soins médicaux
POUR les soins médicaux à l’étranger, l’homologation du certificat médical par le ministère de la Santé ne sera plus exigée. Les banques doivent ainsi servir une allocation de 30.000 DH aux patients sur présentation d’un certificat médical établi par un médecin dûment inscrit à l’Ordre des médecins du Maroc. Elles effectuent, également les transferts d’avances au titre des soins médicaux au profit des établissements hospitaliers étrangers sur présentation de devis, prise en charge par un organisme mutualiste ou d’assurance au Maroc, note de frais émanant du centre hospitalier étranger.
Enfin, les intermédiaires seront tenus de régler le montant total au titre des soins médicaux y compris l’achat de médicaments ou le reliquat restant dû sur présentation de la facture définitive notamment.

TGV casablanca tanger

Tanger- SM le Roi Mohammed VI, que Dieu L'assiste, a présidé, vendredi à Tanger, la cérémonie de signature de six conventions relatives au projet de Train à grande vitesse (TGV) devant relier Tanger à Casablanca et s'est enquis de l'état d'avancement de ce projet, d'un coût global de 20 milliards de dirhams.

-Ce projet de 20 milliards de DH s'inscrit dans le cadre de la politique des grands chantiers engagée par le Maroc et plaçant le citoyen au coeur de la stratégie du développement.

-Action soutenue du Royaume en faveur du développement d'un système de transport privilégiant la multi-modalité et la protection de l'environnement.

-L'exploitation de la ligne à grande vitesse Tanger-Casablanca démarrera à fin 2015.

Ce projet s'inscrit dans le cadre de la politique des grands chantiers engagée sous la conduite éclairée de SM le Roi, que Dieu Le préserve, et visant à placer le citoyen au coeur de la stratégie du développement durable.

Lors de cette cérémonie, le ministre de l'Equipement et des Transports, M. Karim Ghellab, a présenté devant le Souverain les six conventions conclues à cette occasion, lesquelles consacrent une nouvelle phase d'opérationnalisation effective du projet de ligne de TGV entre Tanger et Casablanca.

Cinq des six conventions concernent le financement du projet et viennent s'ajouter aux ressources financières propres mobilisées, a ajouté le ministre soulignant que ces conventions permettent la sécurisation de nouvelles ressources financières à travers des prêts concessionnels avec des taux d'intérêt avantageux entre 1,2 et 3,16 pc et des délais de grâce importants allant de 5 à 20 ans.

Il s'agit, selon M. Ghellab, de deux conventions relatives au financement français RPE (Réserve Pays Emergent) par le trésor d'une part de 350 millions d'euros et par des banques françaises d'autre part de 275 millions d'euros, d'un mémorandum d'entente relatif au prêt du Fonds Saoudien pour le développement d'un montant de 200 millions de dollars US, et d'un accord de prêt avec le Fonds d'Abou Dhabi pour le développement portant sur 100 millions de dollars US, ainsi que de la convention de garantie s'y rapportant.

La sixième convention, a poursuivi M. Ghellab, concerne le contrat d'acquisition par l'ONCF de 14 rames à grande vitesse auprès de la société française Alstom, selon les meilleures conditions de compétitivité internationale.

"Les prix de ce contrat, a-t-il expliqué, sont au moins aussi avantageux que ceux des marchés comparables conclus récemment en France et en Europe.

Il a fait observer qu'avec la signature de ces nouvelles conventions, il nous sera possible d'aller de l'avant dans la concrétisation de cet important projet», notant qu'«après avoir terminé les études de conception, se poursuivent aujourd'hui les études détaillées d'exécution et les travaux préparatoires sont en cours en vue d'entamer les travaux d'infrastructures à mi-2011 et de les achever à fin 2014.

L'exploitation de cette ligne se fera à fin 2015 dès la réception des trains et l'achèvement de la phase d'essais et de tests requis en application des standards de sécurité relatifs à la grande vitesse reconnus mondialement, a ajouté le ministre.

M. Ghellab a souligné qu'"à l'instar de ce qu'il a réalisé au début des années 90 en lançant son programme autoroutier ou encore au début de l'actuelle décennie en s'engageant dans la concrétisation du complexe portuaire Tanger Med, le Maroc opère aujourd'hui, sous la conduite éclairée de Votre Majesté, un nouveau saut qualitatif, à travers le développement de son système de transport en privilégiant le transport de masse, la multi-modalité et la protection de l'environnement et ce, à travers la technologie de la grande vitesse qui s'est progressivement imposée dans les pays développés comme le mode de transport de personnes le plus performant sur les moyennes et longues distances".

La première convention relative au marché d'acquisition des rames à grande vitesse et à deux niveaux a été signée par MM. Karim Ghellab, Patrick Kron, PDG du groupe Alstom, Mohamed Rabie Khlie, directeur général de l'ONCF, Philipe Mellier, président Alstom Transport.

La deuxième convention, portant sur un protocole d'accord relatif à la participation du Fonds Saoudien pour le développement au financement du projet, a été signée par MM Salaheddine Mezouar, ministre de l'Economie et des Finances, et M. Youssef Ibn Ibrahim Al Bassam, vice-président et membre délégué du Fonds Saoudien pour le développement.

Quant à la troisième convention de garantie entre le Royaume du Maroc et le Fonds Abou Dhabi pour le développement pour le financement du projet, elle a été signée par MM. Salaheddine Mezouar et Mohamed Saif Souidi, directeur général adjoint du Fonds Abou Dhabi pour le développement.

La quatrième convention relative au prêt du Fonds Abou Dhabi pour le développement a été signée par MM. Mohamed Rabie Khlie et Mohamed Saif Souidi, alors que la cinquième convention portant sur l'application du prêt du trésor français pour le financement du projet a été signée par MM. Mohamed Rabie Khlie et Bernard Lamperière, adjoint au Directeur des activités institutionnelles de la Banque Natexis.

Concernant la sixième convention relative à l'application des crédits bancaires garantis par la Compagnie française d'assurance pour le commerce extérieur (COFACE), elle a été signée par MM. Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Jean De La Raudiere, directeur du financement export de la banque Société Générale et Mme Nelly Serkisian, responsable mondiale du financement export de la banque Natexis.

Cette cérémonie a été également marquée par la projection d'un film sur le projet de TGV Tanger-Casablanca, qui inaugure une nouvelle étape sur la voie de l'essor du système des transports et du secteur ferroviaire au Maroc, et qui contribuera à répondre à la demande du transport ferroviaire des voyageurs sur l'axe Casablanca-Tanger.

Ce projet d'envergure ne manquera pas d'accompagner le développement du nouveau pô le économique de Tanger-Tétouan, en raccourcissant les distances entre le Nord et le Sud du Royaume, et de libérer de la capacité pour fluidifier le trafic ferroviaire fret sur cet axe (effets d'entraînement du port de Tanger-Med).

Avec plus de 6 millions de voyageurs attendus dès la première année de sa mise en service à fin 2015, le projet permettra de réduire considérablement les temps de parcours : 2heurs10 au lieu de 4h45 entre Tanger et Casablanca et 1H20 au lieu de 3h45 entre Tanger et Rabat. L'offre de tarification sera compétitive et en harmonie avec le pouvoir d'achat des usagers du train.

Grâce à la construction de cette première ligne TGV, le Maroc sera le premier pays d'Afrique et du monde arabe à se doter d'un système de transport ferroviaire de très haut niveau technologique qui ouvre la voie à des réalisations futures à grande portée. Partant, l'ONCF intègre le groupe des opérateurs qui offrent quotidiennement dans le monde un service ferroviaire à très grande vitesse.

Pour la réalisation de ce projet d'envergure, des ressources financières propres ont été mobilisées par le budget général de l'Etat (4,8 milliards de DH) et le Fonds Hassan II pour le développement économique et social (1 milliards de DH) en vertu du contrat programme relatif à l'ONCF pour la période 2010-2015 et la convention avec le Fonds Hassan II, tous deux signées sous la présidence effective de Votre Majesté le 1er février dernier.

Les financements extérieurs déjà mobilisés sont constitués également du don du gouvernement français de 75 millions d'euros et du prêt de 140 millions de dollars US octroyé par le Fonds koweitien pour le développement économique arabe.

Le Maroc a, en outre, reçu l'accord concernant deux prêts octroyés par l'agence française de développement pour un montant de 220 millions d'euros et le fonds Arabe pour le développement économique et social pour un montant de 100 millions de dollars, et dont les modalités de concrétisation se feront ultérieurement, il s'avère aujourd'hui que le montage financier du projet est effectivement bouclé.

HOUSTON — Six months ago, The Nexus made their infamous debut by brutalizing John Cena in a reprehensible attack that shocked the WWE Universe. Tonight, the newly rehired Superstar struck back in a major way, destroying Nexus leader Wade Barrett in a vicious Chairs Match before burying the malicious Englishman under a pile of steel to bring a definitive end to the most heated rivalry of the year. (PHOTOS)

In a match where the usage of steel chairs was completely legal, the underhanded Barrett had a distinct advantage. After all, when it comes to cruelty, few Superstars are as sadistic as the Nexus leader. The Englishman displayed this mean streak throughout much of the bout, battering Cena with an endless amount of punishing chair shots. But the powerhouse would not be denied and he fought back against Barrett, finally destroying his rival with a devastating Attitude Adjustment onto six steel chairs.

The former WWE Champion was not done yet, though. To bring a fitting end to his opposition with Barrett, Cena dragged The Nexus leader to the top of the entrance ramp and entombed him under a pile of steel chairs from the WWE TLC set. Right then and there, Cena buried this rivalry.

The chain of events that brought Cena and Barrett to this brutal end was as complex as any rivalry seen in WWE. Since targeting the Legendary star in their first infamous ambush on Raw, Barrett and his Nexus fiends have been intent on destroying Cena. They came close at WWE Hell in a Cell when Barrett defeated the Raw Superstar in a match that made Cena an unwilling member of the horde. But when Cena failed to help Barrett win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series, he was fired from the group by the Englishman and lost his position as a WWE Superstar.

With nothing left to lose, Cena began attacking the feral dogs wherever he could find them, brutalizing Nexus members in hotel rooms and parking lots. Battered and intimidated by the powerful competitor, the rebels gave Barrett an ultimatum — either reinstate Cena or they would fire the Englishman from The Nexus. With his team ready to turn on him, Barrett had no choice but to rehire the former WWE Champion on last Monday’s Raw.

But after the frustrations Cena had caused the Nexus leader, Barrett wanted nothing more than to bash a steel chair across his rival’s forehead. With just as much animosity in his heart, Cena accepted Barrett’s challenge for a Chairs Match and came to WWE TLC ready for a fight.

From the minute they entered the Toyota Center, The Nexus began their campaign of terror, first brutalizing WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov with steel chairs to send a message to Cena.(FULL STORY) But the resilient Superstar refused to be intimidated and responded by taking out every rebel in the locker room just as he promised he would.

Although his reinforcements were in the ER, Barrett still walked to the ring with arrogance and came very close to defeating his rival. But with the WWE Universe passionately supporting him, Cena weathered his opponent’s offensive storm and came out victorious after a grueling war.

The bout may have left him battered and bruised, but John Cena stood on the entrance ramp with his head held high. In 2010, the former WWE Champion faced his greatest threat yet and walked away from the carnage stronger than ever.
